Feeling Floral

Here is a detail photo of an abstract floral work in progress - it feels a little cold at the moment so I think I shall be warming it up a bit next time I am in the studio.

Here is another studio shot from painting sessions last week.  I really enjoyed using all that yellow - not a colour I often use but I think I will use it more in the future as it was very uplifting and energising.  The painting on the table was a finished painting that I started to feel uncomfortable with so I worked over it and it is turning into an abstract floral painting now - no idea what it will turn out to be in the end!
