Altering Paintings

Sometimes you can think that a painting is finished and then the next time you see it you just have to adjust it.  This was one of those paintings.  It was the subject of a recent post (see below) and has now morphed into this painting after many more layers and glazes of paint.

Prints Available Via Fine Art America

Here is an image of one of them - it is of a painting I did which I wasn't sure what to do with at the time and I ended up painting over it!  I should have given it a little more time as I like it now.   I decided I would use the image to create a print.

Latest Painting

Here is my latest abstract painting just off the easel.  It is a large abstract expressionist painting on stretched canvas created using acrylic paint and mixed media.  40"x30".  Here it is on my studio wall.

New Painting - Transmutation

Here is the finished version of the in progress painting in a previous post.  This artwork went through many changes but I am finally happy with it.
