Prints Available Via Fine Art America

I have been busy adding prints to Fine Art America so if you fancy a look just click on the link to the right of the page.  I will be adding more as time goes on. 

Here is an image of one of them - it is of a painting I did which I wasn't sure what to do with at the time and I ended up painting over it!  I should have given it a little more time as I like it now.   I decided I would use the image to create a print.

Ideas for prints

I've been thinking about creating more prints of my work.  Here are a couple of ideas from a larger painting.

On the easel today

I have been working on quite a few paintings today.  First up is a detail shot of a large abstract painting.  The other two are a couple of abstract landscape paintings in progress.

More experimentation on paper

I've been doing quite a lot of experimentation with abstracts on paper but I am itching to go larger again.  Here are some of the experiments.  I am thinking about turning some of them into prints but not sure yet which ones to use.  Anyway, here are today's mini paintings.

Happy New Year everyone.  Here is a painting I completed at the end of last year but I am a little bit stuck for a title so if you have any ideas .....

Just For Fun

I was getting a little blocked creating abstract paintings so I decided to paint this little picture of a bottle of washing up liquid to loosen up.  Created using acrylic paint in a loose and energetic style - I quite like it, what do you think?

Experimentation

I took a little time out from painting recently but I have now started to paint again.  I was in my studio earlier in the week but it was so cold that I decided to bring my paints home and work in the warmth!  Here is an energetic sketch of a scene within Shipley Country Park, Derbyshire.  It is near the site where Shipley Hall once stood.  It was painted using acrylic paint on watercolour paper.  I really enjoyed creating this little painting and I hope you like it too.
